I believe this cactus is of the Trichocereus family, but not sure because of the yellow flowers. It is a night bloomer with large colorful flowers that dwarfs the size of the cactus.

I graduated from the Art Institute of Seattle in Commercial Photography in 1988. I then moved to Southern California, working as a Photographer for the last 30+ years. I previously had a photography studio where I mostly photographed a wide range of products for advertising.
